The Johannesburg Urban Agriculture Initiative: the City Deep AgriHub

Dear All.

I am involved in multiple discussions with many stakeholders about urban agriculture in Johannesburg and South Africa. One of these groups includes committed people from various businesses and agencies and we are centred around the IProp site next to the Joburg Fresh Produce Market. At least one entrepreneur who emerged from the Farmers' Lab is considering moving in! We need to find a way for sustainable enterprises to outperform conventional enterprises if we want to create a truly sustainable food system. Please join this group if you want to get involved!
