Please join us for the iZindaba Zokudla Farmers’ Lab on the 3rd of September from 10 am until 3pm in A1 at UJ Soweto.

I have the pleasure of introducing the following technology demonstrations:

Mpho Mofokeng from Growhouse Organic a start-up that specialises in organic soil mixes. They are pioneering systems to turn waste food into soil conditioners.

Louis Pulzone and Daniel Motshwane from the LFP Group. They specialise in sustainable skills development and they will be showcasing their Chicken coop hydroponic farm system.

Our speakers include:

Michele Sohn from #10 Million Makers, who will share her experience in building food gardens in Soweto.

Mr Mphuti Mphuti from Heroooes circles, and Soweto Business Access.

Mr Bheki Twala from the Township Economy Funding Committee – Soweto.
