1 October

Updated: Sep 30, 2022

Please join us again for the iZindaba Zokudla Farmers’ Lab on 1 October at 9 am in B3 on UJ Soweto Campus. We will meet until 2 pm with no lunch break.

We will host the People’s Announcement Hour, where anyone can announce a project, programme or activity. This will be digitised and archived and someone may just find you in this way!

We will also be giving an opportunity to speak to Thulani Zikhali from BTY Irrigation, a provider of drip irrigation equipment and services. We are happy to support this start-up!

We will also be hosting INMED who have built aquaponics systems for low income communities and for entities like schools. This will be a great introduction to Aquaponics and we are very excited about this.

We will also be hosting the NGO African Women in Agriculture and they have developed exciting propgrammes for new entrants in the agriculture space.

We will also host Brutus Nemukula and he will present his gardening initiative.

With a little luck, we might have another unexpected guest!

Please see the Facebook page where you can view the event and where it will be archived: Facebook:

You can view and participate via MS Teams and please follow this link: Teams:

Please bring your ID, drivers or Passport to gain access to the campus.

I look forward to seeing you there.
