14 Oct The UVP of Urban Agriculture

Dear Friends of iZindaba Zokudla

On Saturday 14 October, we will discuss how to build the Unique Value Proposition of Urban Agriculture. We discuss this UVP, the food exchange schemes an urban farmer can develop, pricing and other strategies, and social engagement. We will meet in B3 at 9:00 for 9:30 at the Soweto Campus of the UJ, Chris Hani Road. Everyone is welcome and please bring an ID or Passport or other generic identification to gain access to campus.

This is part of the pilot of the Nxazonke course in circular and regenerative enterprise design. In the blog on izindabazokudla.com several blogs contain the draft of the book that Naude is writing. This book is a comprehensive programme for urban agricultural enterprise design that aims to build sustainable urban agricultural enterprises.

We will welcome Tshepo Mboweni from Gold Soil as a guest speaker, and with some luck, we will demonstrate a composting cage developed by local artisans. This product will be on sale and orders can be taken for this piece of technology.
